To apply electronically, you are most welcomed to create an account, compile your application materials, and submit your application in TIGP's online application portal: http://tigp.apps.sinica.edu.tw/index.php; After you fill in your referees' information, your referees will have access to our online recommendation portal.
The electronic files are satisfied for online application. If you passed the preliminary evaluation, you will need to send the following documents by post:
1. Academic transcripts
- Submit transcripts for all post–secondary coursework (Bachelor’s and, if applicable, Master’s). High school transcripts are not required.
- Original academic transcripts should preferably be delivered directly from the university’s Office of the Registrar in sealed envelopes.
- If you already have the original transcripts issued by your university, you may send the original copies yourself by post to the TIGP Office.
2. Language proficiency test scores
-
Most programs require English proficiency test scores (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, GEPT, or TOEIC). Applicants to the EAMW program should submit other language proficiency test scores instead.
-
Original hard-copy test reports can be sent directly from the examination institution (e.g., ETS, British Council). Our institution CODE and Name are 7142 and Academia Sinica, respectively. If you already have the original report, you may also mail the original copy directly to the TIGP Office.
